Automated Polystyrene Recycling Line
Design, manufacture, CE/UKCA certification, and commissioning of an automated polystyrene recycling system.
Overview
Designed and built a fully automated EPS recycling line for an industrial waste operator. The system shreds, compacts, and densifies expanded polystyrene foam using a heated screw extruder, producing solid ingots for onward recycling. Volume reduction up to 50:1. CE/UKCA certified under the Machinery Directive. Fully automated with PLC control and HMI.
